Philmac Full-Flow Non-Return Valve – Female BSP

The Australian-made Philmac Full-Flow Non-Return Valve is designed to allow water to travel in one direction while preventing backflow and unwanted pipeline drainage.

Manufactured from lightweight thermoplastic materials with a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel spring, it is suitable for pump discharge pipework, irrigation, stock-water systems, tank transfer systems and general water-transfer applications.

The female BSP threaded connections allow the valve to connect to compatible male BSP pipe fittings. Its improved internal flow path helps reduce turbulence while providing reliable low-pressure sealing.

This is a genuine Philmac product. It is not manufactured by Franklin Electric, but it can be used in correctly designed pipework connected to Franklin pumps.

Installation and Selection Warning

Select the valve according to the actual BSP pipe connection, required flow and system pressure. Install it with the flow-direction arrow pointing downstream. Confirm whether the pump already contains a non-return valve and whether an additional valve is appropriate for the system. Incorrect sizing or placement can restrict flow or contribute to water hammer. Installation should follow Philmac’s current instructions.
