Franklin MH Horizontal Multistage Electric Pumps – 240V Single Phase

The Franklin MH 240V Horizontal Multistage Pump range delivers reliable water pressure and flow for domestic, rural, irrigation and commercial water systems.

Available in MH3, MH5 and MH9 flow ranges with multiple stages, these surface-mounted pumps allow customers to select the correct balance of flow and pressure. All hydraulic components are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and long service life.

Franklin MH 240V Single-Phase Operating Range

The figures below use only the shaded application range in Franklin Electric’s 50 Hz hydraulic-performance table. The higher shut-off heads shown at 0 LPM are excluded because zero flow is outside the published application range.

How to read this table: Maximum head is the highest published head within Franklin’s application range, together with its corresponding flow. Minimum head is the lowest published head at the opposite end of the application range. Select the pump using the complete required flow and total dynamic head, not either endpoint alone.

Important Information

These are non-self-priming pump-and-motor assemblies only. A pressure controller, pressure tank, check valve and associated fittings must be purchased separately when building an automatic pressure system.

The 2.2 kW MH5/8 may require a dedicated 15 A electrical circuit. Electrical installation must be completed by a qualified electrician.

Selection note: Total dynamic head includes elevation rise, required outlet pressure, pipe friction, fittings, valves and other system losses. Confirm the required flow and total dynamic head before ordering.
