Franklin FPS-6A 100 LPM 415V Three-Phase Bore Pump – Complete Pump & Motor

The Franklin FPS-6A is a complete 4-inch submersible bore pump and three-phase motor combination designed for water-supply duties around 100 LPM (6 m³/h).

With seven motor and stage combinations available, the FPS-6A range covers lower-head water transfer through to demanding deep-bore and high-pressure installations.

Suitable applications include rural water supply, stock watering, tank filling, irrigation and general bore-water transfer where three-phase power is available.

All variants belong to the FPS-6A 100 LPM hydraulic range. Higher-stage models provide greater pressure and pumping head.

Three-Phase Starter Required

A correctly rated three-phase starter or control panel is required to operate this pump safely.

The starter must match the selected motor size and provide appropriate overload and motor protection. It must be installed and commissioned by a licensed electrician.

The three-phase starter/control panel is not included with the pump and must be purchased separately.

Selecting the Correct Model

The correct model must be selected according to the required flow and total dynamic head—not bore depth alone.

Total dynamic head should account for:

• Pumping water level

• Vertical lift from the pumping water level to the discharge point

• Required outlet pressure

• Pipe length and diameter

• Friction losses through pipes, fittings and valves

• Elevation changes

• Required flow rate
