Franklin FPS-4A 70 LPM 415V Three-Phase Bore Pump – Complete Pump & Motor
The Franklin FPS-4A is a complete 4-inch submersible bore pump and three-phase motor combination designed for water-supply duties around 70 LPM (4 m³/h).
With six different motor and stage combinations available, the FPS-4A range can cover lower-head water transfer through to demanding deep-bore and high-pressure installations.
Suitable applications include rural water supply, stock watering, tank filling, irrigation and general bore-water transfer where three-phase power is available.

Selecting the Correct Model
The correct model must be selected according to the required flow and total dynamic head—not bore depth alone.
Total dynamic head should account for:
-
Pumping water level
-
Vertical lift from the water level to the discharge point
-
Required outlet pressure
-
Pipe length and diameter
-
Friction losses through pipework, valves and fittings
-
Elevation changes after the bore
-
Required flow rate

Important Performance and Sizing Information
Flow rates are manufacturer figures. Actual flow and pressure will vary depending on pumping water level, total system pressure, pipe diameter and length, elevation, system design, fittings, valves, water conditions, power supply and installation.
All performance information is provided as a general selection guide only and is not a guarantee of actual on-site performance. Correct system design, pump selection and installation are essential.

FPS-4A - 70 LPM Range
How to read the FPS-4A 415V table: Flow is shown across the top in litres per minute (LPM). Each number in the table is the approximate total head in metres that the listed FPS-4A three-phase model can produce at that flow. Only points inside the blue 46-94 LPM best-efficiency/warranty zone are shown; operation outside this zone is not covered by warranty.
