Franklin CP3 Three-Phase Pump Control Panel – 415V DOL Starter

The Franklin CP3 Three-Phase Pump Control Panel provides direct-on-line starting and thermal-overload protection for compatible 415V three-phase water pumps.

Each panel is housed in an IP56 polycarbonate enclosure and includes a Manual/Off/Automatic selector on the front. A control terminal allows connection of either a compatible pressure switch or float switch for automatic pump operation.

Ten panel sizes are available for motors from 0.37kW through to 7.5kW. The correct panel must be selected using both the pump’s motor rating and full-load current.

Installation and selection warning

Three-phase electrical installation must be completed by a licensed electrician. Select the panel using the motor’s full-load nameplate current as well as its kW rating. The overload must be correctly adjusted during commissioning.

The standard CP3 does not provide dry-run, probe, no-flow, phase-failure, high-pressure or low-pressure protection unless the correct optional equipment is factory fitted.

It is not a variable-speed controller and is not suitable for 230/240V single-phase or solar pumps.
