Franklin CP1 Single-Phase Pump Control Panel

The Franklin CP1 Single-Phase Pump Control Panel provides direct-on-line starting and thermal-overload protection for compatible 230V single-phase water pumps.

Each panel is supplied in an IP56 polycarbonate enclosure with a Manual/Off/Automatic selector on the front. A control terminal allows connection of either a compatible pressure switch or float switch for automatic pump operation.

Seven panel sizes are available from 0.37kW to 3.7kW. The correct panel must be selected using both the pump’s motor rating and full-load current.

• I could not find a reliable Australian retailer listing these exact CP1 order numbers. Pumptec, Pumptec Plus and ordinary Franklin submersible motor control boxes are different products and should not be used as price comparisons.

  Installation and selection warning

  Electrical installation must be completed by a licensed electrician. Select the panel using the motor nameplate current as well as motor kW. The thermal overload must be correctly adjusted during commissioning. The CP1 is not a variable-speed controller and standard panels do not provide dry-run, probe, no-flow, high-pressure or low-pressure protection. Optional CP1 protection equipment must be specified and factory fitted when the panel is ordered.
